Spiritual Warfare and Catholic Counseling

You believe in good and evil. So do our Catholic therapists. While we are cautious, we do believe that the spiritual realm can touch our physical world. Worried a counselor will think your 'crazy'? Don't worry, we're here to help you figure out what is going on - and whether it is physical, psychological, or spiritual in nature.

Church

Is Religion Helpful or Hurtful?

As Christians, we have the light of Christ and his Church to show us the way. This can be a beautiful foundation for strong mental health. However, spiritual wounding can also occur. Sometimes good things are used in bad ways. Whether religion has been a positive or a negative in your life, we're here to help.

“Whoever suffers from mental illness 'always' bears God's image and likeness in himself, as does every human being."

(Pope John Paul II, 1996)

Make An Appointment

Hi, I'm Kim.

Catholicism is a way of being.

Peace be with you. As a practicing Catholic, I realize the wisdom of the Church as well as the difficulty in living it out in today's world. Together, we will apply the truths of the Church to your journey to sainthood. The training I've had in Theology of the Body and Catholic Sexual Ethics may be useful in our sessions.
