Counseling that
respects your faith

Faith can shape how you understand identity, suffering, relationships, responsibility, and hope. When meaningful to you, Catholic Christian beliefs can be thoughtfully incorporated into clinically grounded counseling.

People of every faith background—or none—are welcome.

FAITH-INFORMED • CLINICALLY GROUNDED

Your faith can be part of the conversation

When You Want Faith Included

Your beliefs and spiritual life may influence how you understand anxiety, grief, guilt, identity, relationships, suffering, and hope. When you want these concerns included, we can explore them openly and respectfully.

Faith may inform your counseling goals, the meaning you make of your experiences, and the resources that support healing. It will never be imposed or assumed.

Counseling Remains at the Core
Counseling remains focused on your emotional and psychological health. Care is guided by professional ethics, careful clinical judgment, and evidence-based approaches.

Counseling does not replace confession, spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, or authoritative teaching from the Church. When a concern is primarily spiritual or theological, consultation with a priest or qualified spiritual director may be helpful.

AREAS WE MAY EXPLORE

Bringing the whole person into counseling

01 — Dignity and Identity

Explore who you are beyond symptoms, productivity, mistakes, or what has happened to you—and reconnect with your inherent dignity as a person created and loved by God.

02 — Conscience and Scrupulosity

Distinguish healthy responsibility and remorse from excessive guilt, shame, fear, compulsive doubt, or an overwhelming need for moral certainty.

03 — Relationships and Vocation

Consider how love, commitment, sexuality, boundaries, responsibility, and vocation influence your relationships and important life decisions.

04 — Suffering and Hope

Make room for grief and pain without minimizing them, while exploring meaning, acceptance, resilience, and the possibility of hope.

Faith-informed counseling can provide context for concerns that are both emotional and spiritual. The goal is not to arrive at perfect answers, but to understand your experience more fully and respond with greater freedom, responsibility, and hope.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

You do not have to leave
your faith at the door

If you are seeking counseling that respects Catholic Christian beliefs while remaining clinically grounded, you are welcome to schedule a session or call with questions. Faith can be incorporated as much or as little as is meaningful to you.
