Individual Counseling
FOR THE JOURNEY OF LIVING
Life’s journey is littered with potholes.
And at times, it can become difficult to navigate.
ANXIETY…
You are navigating a long, winding, and unfamiliar road.
DEPRESSION…
You have lost your way and there is no gas left in the tank.
TRAUMA …
You look in the review mirror and see the wreckage left behind.
This journey is not what you expected.
But you manage as best you can.
With no GPS to guide you, you forge ahead using the coping mechanisms you know.
Talking with friends and family.
Reading self-help books.
Pushing your feelings aside.
You just cannot shake the feeling that you might be lost.
You don’t recognize this pain.
It affects everything: work, home, relationships…even your own identity.
You have never felt like this before.
“When did I take the offramp from ‘managing’ to ‘not managing?’ you wonder.”
Overwhelmed, you realize you cannot go on like this.
You need to stop for directions.
Exhale.
This is your moment of clarity. You have decided to seek help.
Realizing that you do not have to do this alone, despair and hopelessness dissipate.
Yes, there will be roadblocks and detours. But with a bit of help, you will find your way.
The road stretches out before you.
You don’t have to journey alone.

Navigational assistance is here!
Professional counseling requires an accredited master’s degree program in mental health counseling, years of work under supervision, and a license regulated by the state of Ohio. Life coaching is a bit like the wild west, with minimal education and alack of uniform regulation. A life coach can easily wade into territory for which only a counselor can legally provide services. The work you do with our counselors may include:
- Regulating emotions
- Strengthening rational thinking
- Re-storying trauma
- Understanding how the past contributes to the present
- Enhancing interpersonal relationships
- Strengthening problem-solving skills
- Confronting core beliefs
- Improving behavior
It’s time for your journey of healing to begin. Be sure to bring one of our counselors along for the ride! Call us today at (567) 644-8186 and we can chat about getting started. Talk soon.
